The Aquados® water softeners are available in a range of settings. The smaller versions consist of a cover that works as a storage tank for salt addition.
The actual softening takes place in the filter. After a certain amount of water has been treated a regeneration must take place. During this regeneration the filter will be rinsed with dissolved salt. The regeneration can be started either at a certain time or after a certain amount of water has been softened. As soon as the regeneration is finished, the softener will be used for its purpose again.
